North Meets South (Part-7)

He couldn’t study anymore. His mind was roaming around somewhere. He stopped studying and started to focus on what his mind roamed around – It was Amala. Montek called Amala, they spoke for some time, and then Amala proposed again

Amala – “I love you”

Montek – “I love you too”

Amala – “Serious, “

Montek – “Yeah, I love you”

Amala – “But, before you told me”

Montek – “I don’t know, but am feeling it now. I Love you Amala”

Amala – “Say it once again”

Montek – “I love you”

Amala – “Once again”

Montek – “I love you”

Amala – “Once again”

Montek – “I love you”

The whole night, Montek kept on telling it, atleast for a 1000 times. They both didn’t understand how it happened, but it came out instantaneously and at the same time within a few hours gap from the inside of both of them.

The next day, Montek called Upman to his room, and told him the whole matter

Upman – “Look, it’s not possible. You are from north and she is from south. They never meet. Just be good friends”

Montek – “But we can’t. We don't feel like that any more. Also, we can’t live even for a day, without speaking to each other”

Upman – “Look, I will tell Amala to stop speaking with you. Now you too try not to speak with her. Let the feelings go down. Forget her now, or else it would be quite difficult in the future.”

Montek – “Ok, I will try my best”

For two days, Montek and Amala stayed without speaking to each other. And then, they couldn’t. Mobile phones rang and the love birds spoke.

Both of them knew that it will be a very hard thing, convincing their parents. And they love their parents. So they took an oath that they will marry only if the parents from both sides agree. They don’t know how it happened in between them, but a saying about love is apt to their relationship

“Love doesn’t take permission to happen. Love doesn’t need anyone’s consent. It just happens”

Dan didn’t meet Diana any time later, but somehow in his second year, he got her mail ID. Filled with jubilance and anxiety, he sent her a friend request in chat.  One fine day she accepted and Dan started seeing her in his chat list. He then pinged her

Dan – “Hii Diana, how are you?”

Diana – “Who are you?”

Dan tried to explain, but failed as Diana didn’t remember anything.

There are two kinds of people in the world. One who hold their life, and the others who don’t.  Amala and Montek belong to the latter category. In the end, they succeed or not doesn't matter, but watching "Love happen" in today's world and in such a sweet manner is really really cool. Me, being the writer of this blog, feel a lot of jealous about them. But, someday, I too will fall in love (exaggerating - LOL) and it will be the greatest story of my life. Will definitely share with you guys.

And last but not least,

The story is over folks.
