A small advice : Read part-2, before reading this
Story :
Our hero reached hostel and checked the internet. The thing he wanted did happen, but it resulted in a more dangerous situation. Our Hero analysed that the ring can be used for a good cause but there is a coupled bad cause, that may happen. His mobile started ringing, it's from Ramana.
"No doubt" our hero thought "he is going to scold me, I will not lift the phone". When the phone rang again "anyway let him scold, but am not going to tell him about the ring. I will bury it after the call. It's really bad for the world"
He lifted the phone
Ramana - "Dude"
Hero - "I am sorry, I don't mean to crack a joke! Actually in the morning"
Ramana - "Oh shut up, first check your mail"
Hero - "Why ?"
Ramana - "Remember, a week ago, while getting frustrated about not getting jobs, we searched different websites for job listings"
Hero - "Whoa, did you get a mail from some company"
Ramana - "Yes dude, it's NASA"
Hero - "The company for which we kept the estimated package to 10$, excluding allowances. But, are you mad ? the world is coming to an end and you are thinking of job"
Ramana - "You miniature fellow. I have a plan to save the earth and entering NASA campus is the first step for it"
Hero - "I too have a plan, become a superman and destroy the meteor. Dude, is this the time to kid ?"
Ramana cut the phone. Our hero, started doing small warm up exercises to get his body more relaxed. After 15 minutes, someone knocked at the door. He opened and found Ramana. Ramana slapped him and immediately went away. Our Hero, didn't understand a bit. After some time, our Hero's phone rang, it's from Ramana again
Ramana - "I am not kidding"
Hero - "You should have told this in the phone"
Ramana - "I am serious. The tickets were already booked online, we are leaving day after tommorrow"
Hero - "I don't have a passport"
Ramana - "Really, why didn't you tell me, when we are applying for NASA"
Hero - "I thought, it's just another company"
Ramana - "Go to hell then, I alone will go and save the world"
Ramana cut the phone. Our Hero began to think
"Ramana will reach NASA in the next three days. Then he is going to do something and save the world, while I do jogging here. He becomes a universal hero, while I will be left a mediocre. I will be selecting which car to play in NFS, while he will be able to buy any car that is available in the NFS, even before reaching blacklist-1. He will be having gun men following him, with out the need to say "Follow me" as I will be doing in counter strike. I am the hero and I should be the one to save the earth. I should do something, do something, do something. But...what can I do ? What can I do? What can I do?"
His vision, shifted from object to object in his room until finally, it stopped on the ring.
"The ring has magical powers. What ever I want, it will happen. What if I become a superman ?"
